The Sekels, Turkic, Turks
Sekels, originally Turkic people, are a group of Western Huns who settled in Hungary after the migration of tribes. Historians agree that it was the people of the effort, the younger son of Atilla, the whip of God,who was recognized as the most powerful ruler of the European Huns.
It is very interesting that Sekeller has a unique alphabet that they have preserved until today, which is similar to the Köktürk Alphabet.
Sekel, 10.he said that it may be related to the Eskil (Esegel) people who have lived in Chuvashia and Tatarstan since the century.
Although many Hun folk songs assimilated with the acceptance of Christianity and forgot their Turkishness, it seems that this small community, called in the history of Hungary, was used as border troops in the Army, a national that referred to them as Turks.
Moreover, after that, this community, called sekelers, came to Erdel (Transylvania) region, where today there are hundreds of thousands of sekelers living on the territory of Romania.
Although sekels have only just begun to be known on the side of the Turkic world today, they have managed to preserve their decency despite thousands of years of intervening. Currently, 800 thousand folk live in Sekelia in Romania.
Sekels, who experienced a national awakening after the fall of the communist regime in Romania, started using their own unique Sekel flag in 1990, forming a group called The Young Sekels Forum. Sekels have begun to understand and learn that they are Turk.
