Is the Erivan (Yarevan) Armenian City? (Past and Now)

  In some current sources, it is said that Yerevan was an Armenian city in the past and remained under Turkish rule for a while. In the German map of Turkey dated 1606, our Eastern Anatolia region is called Turcomania. Again, in the same way, the map says that the Caucasus is Turcomania.
